Our third annual NHITC event on September 23rd, 2023, was a resounding success! Our primary objective to raise hunger awareness and feed 5000 people was achieved with the help of our returning community partners, the Compassion Center Little Rock and St. Mark Baptist church. Their site location and significant donation were critical to the event's success.
Moreover, we are incredibly grateful to our 36 Care-givers who provided behind-the-scenes services, donated and prepared care kit bags, or volunteered during the event. Their commitment and dedication to our cause were truly commendable.
Although we fell short of our meal goal, we served 971 meals. We were able to increase hunger awareness, distribute 100 care kits, and raise $3500 in food donations. All meals were created and provided through donated means.
We hope to garner more support and engagement from the community in the coming year. Join us on September 21st, 2024, and help us make a difference in the lives of those struggling with hunger.
